Getting Started

Yes, completely free. MyPariva has no subscription, no premium tier, and no credit card requirement. Core features — cycle tracking, care network, WhatsApp notifications, and health library — are all included at zero cost. We're committed to keeping it free.

No. The care network is entirely optional. Many users track their cycle, log daily moods, and read health articles entirely for themselves. You can add supporters whenever you're ready — or enable privacy mode to keep everything personal.

MyPariva works with irregular cycles. Predictions are based on your actual logged period history and improve with each cycle you record. If your cycle length varies by a week or more, the predictions will widen their window accordingly. We never assume a perfect 28-day cycle.

Yes. MyPariva tracks your fertile window based on your cycle data, which can be helpful for awareness when trying to conceive. However, MyPariva is a tracking tool — not a medical fertility service. For clinical fertility support, consult a gynaecologist or fertility specialist.

You can use MyPariva for mood logging, daily tracking, and the health library. However, cycle predictions are based on natural cycle patterns. Hormonal contraception (pill, IUD, injection) significantly alters your natural cycle, so period and fertile window predictions will be less accurate or not applicable.

Privacy & Data

Only you. Your raw cycle dates, mood logs, and symptom data are visible only to your account. Supporters never see this data — they only receive the crafted WhatsApp messages that you've authorised. Even our team doesn't look at individual health logs.

Never. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data to any third party for advertising, insurance scoring, or any commercial purpose. Our full privacy commitment is in our Privacy Policy.

Yes. MyPariva stores user data on cloud infrastructure hosted in India, in compliance with applicable data localisation requirements. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Go to your Profile settings and select "Delete account". All your personal data, cycle logs, and supporter information will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 90 days. You can also write to privacy@mypariva.com to request deletion manually.

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Passwords are hashed with BCrypt (not stored in plain text). Consent tokens are encrypted using AES before being included in email links. We conduct regular security reviews of our codebase and infrastructure.

Care Network & Notifications

When you add a supporter, they immediately receive a WhatsApp message from MyPariva explaining what kind of messages they'll receive and asking them to reply YES to opt in. Notifications only begin after they consent. They can opt out any time by replying STOP, and you can remove them from your care circle at any point.

No. Supporters never see your raw dates, mood scores, or symptoms. They receive only the WhatsApp message we send on your behalf — which is warm and contextual ("Asha's period starts tomorrow") without revealing your personal health logs or exact data points.

Yes. In your Care Network settings, you can toggle individual notification types (Period Start, Fertile Window, Care Reminder) on or off for each supporter independently. You can pause all notifications without removing anyone from your circle.

WhatsApp is the primary notification channel. If your supporter doesn't use WhatsApp, you can add their email address instead — they'll receive an email consent request and, once they agree, email notifications. Email notifications require explicit consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

Message templates are managed at the platform level — our team curates a library of warm, context-appropriate messages for each cycle phase and relation type (husband, mother, friend, etc.). You can enable or disable each notification type, but individual message text customisation is not currently available for users.

Health & Accuracy

Predictions improve with each logged period and are based on your individual cycle history. For regular cycles, most users find predictions accurate to within 1–3 days. However, stress, travel, illness, hormonal changes, and conditions like PCOS can affect accuracy. Predictions are estimates — not medical diagnoses.

No. MyPariva is a self-tracking and awareness tool — not a medical device, diagnostic instrument, or clinical service. Always consult a qualified gynaecologist or healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See our Medical Disclaimer for full details.

You can use MyPariva to log symptoms and mood patterns that may be relevant to these conditions. However, MyPariva does not diagnose, assess, or manage any health condition. If you suspect you have PCOS, endometriosis, or another reproductive health condition, please speak to a doctor.

Yes. All health articles on MyPariva are reviewed by our medical advisory board — a panel of practising gynaecologists and women's health specialists. Articles are general educational content and are not a substitute for personalised medical advice from your doctor.

Account & Billing

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your registered email address. You'll receive a password reset link by email within a few minutes. If you signed up with Google, use "Continue with Google" instead — there's no separate password to reset.

Go to your Profile settings and tap "Change phone number." You'll be asked to verify your new number via WhatsApp OTP before the change takes effect. Your existing care network will not be affected.

Data export is on our roadmap. Currently, you can view your full period history and notification logs within the app. To request a data export in the meantime, email privacy@mypariva.com and we'll fulfil your request within 15 business days, as required by the DPDP Act 2023.

We're committed to keeping core features free for all users, always. If we ever introduce optional premium features, current users will have plenty of notice and the core experience will remain free. We'll never charge for cycle tracking, care network, or WhatsApp notifications.
